Marshall Artiste 2040 - Channel 2 preset

Verified · 83/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Artist 2040 is a 50-watt Marshall reverb amp from 1971, a more versatile alternative to the single-voice Lead heads. Two channels, each with two inputs, their own gain stages, volume and tone controls, mix into a valve-driven spring reverb stage. A long-tail phase inverter with presence drives a pair of output valves on a solid-state supply into 4, 8 or 16 ohms, for a cleaner, rounder voice than the plexi Lead heads.
