The Marshall JCM800 Split Channel 2210 is the 100-watt two-channel version of the JCM800 series, introducing a reverb-equipped clean channel alongside the master volume lead channel in a single head. The split-channel design represented Marshall's acknowledgement of the growing demand for channel switching that was being popularized by American manufacturers in the early 1980s. While the 2210 does not enjoy quite the same mythical status as the single-channel 2203, it offers greater tonal versatility and its clean channel is particularly clear and articulate.
