The 2099 is a 100-watt solid-state Marshall bass amplifier from the early 1970s, sold in the US through Unicord. Inputs 1, 2 and a combined 1&2 jack feed a pair of 741 op-amps that mix into a transistor gain stage, volume and a bass and treble tone network, with slave and effects outputs. A discrete power amp with MJ3001/MJ2501 Darlington outputs drives a 4/8/16-ohm output transformer, unusual for a transistor design.
