The Marshall 1959T Super Lead Tremolo is the less common tremolo-equipped variant of the legendary 1959 Super Lead 100W. In addition to the full Super Lead circuit, it adds a tube-driven optical tremolo effect — a feature more common in the earlier JTM era but carried forward for players who wanted onboard modulation without an external pedal. The tremolo circuit does not colour the dry tone, so the 1959T delivers identical plexi character to the standard 1959 while offering a lush, rhythmic pulse that suited the psychedelic and blues styles of the late 1960s.
