Marshall Master Lead 30 2199 - Normal preset

Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The 2199 Master Lead is a 30-watt all-transistor combo from Marshall's JMP era, with a master volume after its preamp. Normal and Bright inputs each feed their own two-transistor preamp with a separate gain control, with a Mix input for both. A shared treble, middle and bass stack, an FET buffer and the master volume drive a discrete complementary power amp into two speakers.
