The Lead 20 (5002) is a 20-watt solid-state combo from Marshall's mid-1980s transistor range, aimed at practice and rehearsal. High and Low inputs feed an op-amp Gain stage with clipping, then a second op-amp, a Treble, Middle and Bass network and a Volume control. A discrete push-pull transistor power amp with MJ2501/MJ3001 outputs drives a 10-inch, 8-ohm speaker, with a headphone jack that mutes the speaker.
