Marshall Major 1967 - High Treble preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The 1967 Major is Marshall's 200-watt lead head, shown here in its 1970 US form, and was among the loudest guitar heads of its day; Ritchie Blackmore used modified Majors with Deep Purple. Four inputs feed two ECC83 channels with their own volumes. Unlike the plexi heads, the tone stack sits between two gain stages with no cathode follower, and an ECC82 inverter with Presence drives four KT88s off a silicon bridge.
