Marshall G80/80 - Normal preset

Verified · 86/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The G80/80 is an 80-watt solid-state combo from Marshall's late-1990s G series. Two footswitchable channels each have their own controls: a Normal channel with a Clean/Crunch switch and LED clipping, and a Boost channel with an Overdrive Mode switch and its own EQ and volume. Spring reverb, an effects loop with level, a CD input and a direct out complete it, with a discrete MJE/T64-T65 transistor power amp.

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
