The 5010 Master Lead 30 is a 30-watt solid-state 1×12 combo from Marshall's 1980s transistor range. A single input feeds an MC1458 op-amp gain stage with a Gain control and back-to-back diode clipping, then a passive Treble, Middle and Bass stack, Presence and a Master volume. There is no channel switching: drive is set with Gain against Master. A discrete Darlington power amp drives a 4-ohm 12-inch speaker, with headphone and DI outputs.
