Matchless Hurricane preset
Verified · 90/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Hurricane (drawn 1995) is a compact single-channel Matchless with two EL84s in cathode-biased class A and no negative feedback. Half a 12AX7 is the only gain stage, feeding a bright-capped Volume and a single Tone control, then a 12AX7 long-tail phase inverter. The other half of the first 12AX7 is a tremolo oscillator with Speed and Depth controls. A 5AR4 rectifier with choke, 4/8-ohm outputs and a line out complete it.

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
