Mesa Boogie V-Twin - Lead preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The V-Twin is Mesa/Boogie's valve preamp in a heavy steel floor pedal, launched in 1993. Two 12AX7s do the main gain work, backed by TL072 op-amp buffers, a diode-clipping drive stage and opto/JFET switching between Clean/Blues and Solo modes with a passive tone stack. Separate outputs feed a guitar amp, a power amp, or a desk and headphones through a speaker-simulating filter, and it runs from a 12-volt AC adaptor.
