The M-1000 is a 100-watt valve head from Metaltronix, the late-1980s American brand aimed at high-gain metal players; this sheet covers its preamp. Cascaded stages with a pull-on Stage II gain feed a Volume, more gain and a cathode follower into treble, bass and middle with a six-position treble voicing selector. A System Level with pull-clean, an effects loop, two master volumes and Presence feed a long-tail phase inverter driving four output valves.
