This version of the Multivox Premier 50 is a small single-ended tube amp. A 12AX7 provides two gain stages with tone and volume controls, feeding one cathode-biased 6L6GB output tube with a 6X4 rectifier. This makes it a simple Class A practice amp that breaks up easily. It differs from the later Premier 50, which used a 7591A and a solid-state rectifier.
