The Premier 50 is a small combo from Multivox, the New York maker behind the Premier brand, built in several versions over a long run. This one uses a single 12AX7 for two gain stages, with two instrument inputs and a microphone input sharing one volume and one tone control. A single-ended 7591A output valve on a solid-state rectifier drives an 8-inch speaker, so it breaks up early into a raw, gritty tone.
