Music Man HD-500 Bass (Edition 1) preset

Verified · 87/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The HD-500 is a 500-watt Music Man bass head with a solid-state power amp and a single valve gain stage in its preamp. Two inputs 10 dB apart feed that gain stage, then a footswitchable pair of EQ banks (bass, middle, mid/high, treble) gives two settings through one Master Volume. Music Man's LVR speaker-response control, a limiter, a pre/post-EQ XLR direct out, an effects loop and a tuner out with mute complete it.
