National-Dobro Model C preset
Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Model C is an early National-Dobro amplifier from the first generation of amps built for electric steel and Spanish guitars. Two inputs feed a 6N7 dual-triode preamp and a single volume control; a second 6N7 serves as gain stage and paraphase inverter for a pair of cathode-biased 6V6s. A type 80 rectifier supplies the circuit and the speaker's field coil doubles as the filter choke. There is no tone control and no negative feedback.
