The Terror Bass 500 is a compact 500-watt hybrid bass head from around 2009 that pairs a valve preamp with a lightweight solid-state power amp in a lunchbox-size chassis. Two 12AX7s handle the preamp: a gain stage with the Gain control, a second stage into a passive treble, bass and mid stack, a recovery stage, an effects send/return, then the Volume and a cathode-follower output. An op-amp stage feeds a balanced DI output with a ground-lift switch.
