The Orpheus Model 708 is a small guitar amp sold under Coast Wholesale Music Co.'s Orpheus brand. Three inputs mix into one half of a 7025 dual triode, then a Volume control and the second 7025 stage, followed by a simple treble-cut Tone control at the grid of a single-ended, cathode-biased 6V6GT. A 5Y3GT rectifier supplies it, and it drives a 6-inch 4-ohm speaker. It is a simple class-A student amp that breaks up easily.
