The Paul Ruby Rocket is a small-builder, Vox-inspired valve amp known for chimey, touch-sensitive breakup. It is a single channel with Volume, Treble, Bass and Cut controls: a 250pF bright cap sits across the Volume, the Treble and Bass form a passive stack, and the Cut control trims highs at the phase inverter, as on a Vox AC30. The output valves are cathode-biased with no master volume, so the amp is voiced to be turned up.
