Peavey Butcher preset
Verified · 92/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Peavey Butcher is a mid-1980s all-valve head built for high-gain rock and metal. High and low gain inputs feed three 12AX7s, with Pre and Post gain controls around a Low, Mid and High tone stack, then a long-tailed-pair phase inverter with a Presence control in the feedback loop. Four 6L6GCs with fixed bias drive outputs for 4, 8 and 16 ohm cabinets, and a booster output jack sits on the control panel.
