The Peavey Classic 20 is a 20-watt all-tube amp from 1994, voiced for vintage-style breakup at studio-friendly levels. A single channel runs three 12AX7 gain stages with a Pre gain control between them, a Boost switch, then a treble, bass and middle stack and a Master. The second 12AX7's other half is a cathodyne phase inverter driving two cathode-biased EL84s with negative feedback, and there are headphone and external speaker jacks.
