The Peavey Classic 50 is a 50-watt all-tube amp (1993, sharing its circuit with the Blues Classic) with Normal and Bright inputs and two relay-switched channels: a Classic channel with its own Pre gain and a Dirty channel with Pre and Post gain. They share a treble, bass and middle stack, Master and Presence, plus op-amp-driven spring reverb and an effects loop. Three 12AX7s, ending in a cathodyne inverter, drive four fixed-bias EL84s for a bright, compressed voice.
