Peavey Classic (A Series) - Normal preset

Verified · 85/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Peavey Classic (A Series) is an early Peavey hybrid combo: an all-transistor preamp drives a valve output stage. Bright and Normal inputs each have their own transistor stage and Volume, then share Treble, Bass and Mid controls and a Master, with transistor-driven spring reverb and a FET tremolo with Depth and Rate, both footswitchable. A transistor phase splitter drives two fixed-bias 6L6GCs at about 460 V into a 4-ohm output, for a blackface-inspired clean voice.
