The Peavey Classic (B Series) is a 1970s hybrid combo whose all-transistor preamp drives a valve output stage. Bright and Normal inputs each have their own transistor input stage and gain control, with series and parallel jacks for linking, and the bright side adds a diode clipper. A main stage feeds Treble, Middle and Bass and a Master, with transistor-driven spring reverb and a tremolo with Rate and Depth. A transistor phase inverter drives a pair of 6L6GCs.
