Peavey Classic VTX - Normal preset

Verified · 86/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Peavey Classic VTX ('Classic 81') is a 1981 hybrid combo: an op-amp preamp drives a valve output stage. High and low inputs feed a Normal path with its own Pre gain and a Lead path with Pre, Saturation and Post, footswitch-selected, each Pre with a pull-bright switch. They share Low, Mid and High (pull thick) controls, Presence, an optical phaser with Depth and Range, spring reverb and a Master. Transistor drivers feed two 6L6GC output valves.
