The Firebass 700 is a 700-watt solid-state Peavey bass head from around 2001. Its op-amp preamp has a -10 dB pad and Bright switch, Pre Gain, a Contour control, low and high shelving EQ and a mid section with frequency shift and cut/boost, then Post Gain. A post-EQ effects loop is footswitchable, and there are a tuner send with mute, a pre-EQ XLR direct send, and Peavey's DDT speaker-protection compression with a defeat switch.
