The Peavey Audition 30 is a solid-state practice amp from 1986 built around a TDA2040 power IC driving a 3.2-ohm speaker. Two inputs feed a 4558 op-amp stage with a Pre Gain control; a Push Sat switch, also footswitchable, adds diode clipping for distortion. High, Mid and Low tone controls with a Push Thick switch follow, then a second op-amp stage with diode limiting and a Post Gain control, plus preamp out and headphone jacks.
