The Peavey Rage 158 is a small solid-state practice amp from 1992. A push switch selects between a Normal channel with its own Pre level and a lead channel with a SuperSat gain control, diode clipping and a Post level. Both then share High, Mid and Low tone controls ahead of a TDA2040 power IC driving a 3.2-ohm 8-inch speaker, with a preamp out and a headphone jack that mutes the speaker.
