The VTM 120 is Peavey's late-1980s 120-watt all-valve head, built to give players the sound of a hot-rodded amp straight from the factory. A single channel with Pre and Post gain, low/mid/high EQ and presence is reshaped by a bank of eight Response Modification DIP switches that add gain stages, compression and low, mid and high voicing changes. Four 12AX7s drive four 6L6GCs, with high- and low-gain inputs and an effects loop.
