Pignose 7-100 preset

Verified · 88/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The original battery-powered Pignose portable amp, with a pig-snout volume knob and a speaker built into a small hinged case. This version uses germanium transistors with a transformer-coupled push-pull output, runs on batteries, and has a preamp output. Its small speaker and easily overdriven output stage give a gritty, boxy distortion that players have used on recordings as well as for practice.
