The Pignose G40V is a tube combo designed by Dennis Kager for Pignose Industries, rated around 40 watts. A single input feeds a 12AX7 gain stage, a Volume control and two more 12AX7 gain stages, then a cathode follower driving a Marshall-style treble, bass and middle stack and a Master. A 12AX7 long-tail-pair inverter with a Presence control in the feedback loop drives two fixed-bias 6L6GCs into 4 or 8 ohms. There is no reverb or effects loop.
