The Polytone V1B is a solid-state reverb preamp used in Polytone's compact combos, known for clean jazz tone. Two identical channels each have two inputs, an op-amp gain stage with a Bright/Normal/Dark switch, Bass and Treble controls and their own Volume. The channels are mixed into a footswitchable spring reverb with its own level and a lamp-and-photocell modulation effect driven by an op-amp oscillator, then an output buffer to the power amp.
