The Premier B-160 is a bass amplifier from Premier, the New York brand of the Sorkin/Multivox company. Two inputs feed an EF86 pentode gain stage, then a passive Bass and Treble network and a Volume control. A 12AX7 serves as gain stage and cathodyne phase inverter, driving two cathode-biased 6V6GTs with negative feedback into a 12-inch 8-ohm speaker. A two-diode solid-state supply with a standby switch powers it.
