The Rick-Tone Type 6 is a single-ended guitar practice and recording amp from Rick-Tone, hand-built from the 1980s on in several versions. One input feeds both halves of a 12AX7 or 12AT7 in cascade, with a 500K Volume, 2 Meg Tone and a center-off Personality switch that changes the speaker feedback. One cathode-biased output valve (6V6GT, 6K6GT, 6L6GC or 6CA7, by unit) drives the output transformer from a 6X5GT or diode rectifier.
