The Rickenbacker M8E is a simple single-ended Class A student amp. Two inputs mix through 68K resistors into a grid-leak-biased first stage of a 12AX7, then a 500K volume control and the second 12AX7 triode, which drives one cathode-biased 6V6 into the output transformer.
