The Rikstone H40 is a small-builder single-channel EL34 head with valve-driven spring reverb. Its 12AX7 front end runs paralleled triodes through Bass and Middle controls, a second paralleled stage, then Treble and Volume, an effects loop and Reverb. A 12AX7 long-tail phase inverter with Brilliance and Master controls across its outputs drives two cathode-biased EL34s with no negative feedback. Silicon rectifier; 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs.
