Roland Cube-40 preset

The Cube-40 is an early Roland solid-state combo from the original Cube series. Normal and higher-sensitivity Overdrive input jacks feed one JFET/transistor preamp with treble, middle and bass, Volume and Master Volume, so drive comes from pushing the preamp. A TA7200P-driven spring reverb with footswitch, a pre-out/main-in loop, headphone and extension jacks and a discrete transistor power amp complete it. Early Cubes were known for toughness.

Gridleak extracts amp parameters from original circuit schematics using AI vision — component values, gain staging, tone stack topology, tube types — then generates native preset files for every supported modeler. Every extraction is scored 0–100 and the score is published.
