The Selectortone Automatic 25 is a Selmer valve amp built as a separate Selector-Tone preamp and main amp. Channel 1 has two inputs into an ECC83 triode and an EF86 pentode with its own volume and tone; channel 2 feeds the other triode into Selmer’s push-button tone-selector network and a second EF86 with volume and tone. In the main amp an ECC83 is the vibrato oscillator and cathodyne splitter for two cathode-biased EL34s, with a GZ34.
