Selmer Vanguard preset

verified · 80/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Selmer Vanguard is a small valve combo from Selmer London’s 1960s range. Two input groups each have their own 250K volume and ECC83 triode, mixed into a further ECC83 stage with tone controls. A 6BR8 pentode drives a spring reverb through a transformer, its triode handles recovery, and an ECC83 stage mixes it back with a Depth control and footswitch. An ECC83 inverter drives two cathode-biased 6BW6s into 15 ohms, with an EZ81 rectifier.
