The Silvertone 1449 (chassis 185.11090) is the amp built into the case of Sears' guitar outfit from around 1963. Two inputs feed a Volume and a 12AX7 with a Tone control between its two stages, driving one cathode-biased 6V6GT single-ended into an 8-inch 3.2-ohm speaker. A second 12AX7 provides tremolo with Speed and Strength controls and a footswitch. A 6X4 valve rectifier supplies the high voltage.
