Silvertone 1483 - Channel 2 preset
Verified · 92/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.
The Silvertone 1483 (chassis 185.11030) is a two-channel Sears head. Each channel has two inputs, its own half of a 12AX7, and its own Treble, Bass and Volume. A second 12AX7 adds two gain stages ahead of a 6FQ7/6CG7 cathode-coupled phase inverter, which drives two cathode-biased 6L6GCs push-pull into an 8-ohm load. A 5Y3GT rectifier and a choke supply the high voltage. No reverb or tremolo on this chassis.
