Silvertone 1472 - Instrument preset

Verified · 91/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Silvertone 1472 (chassis 185.10210, 1963) is a two-channel Sears combo. The Microphone channel and the two-jack Instruments channel each get half of a 12AX7 and their own Tone and Volume controls. A second 12AX7 provides a gain stage and split-load phase inverter for two cathode-biased 6V6GTs push-pull into a 3.2-ohm speaker. A 6AU6 oscillator gives tremolo with Speed and Strength and a footswitch, and a 6X4 valve rectifies.
