Soldano X99 preset
Close · 78/100 confidence. Most values readable. Minor gaps filled by inference from similar circuits.
The Soldano X99 is an all-tube, MIDI-programmable rack preamp that succeeded the X88R. Rather than separate channel circuits, it runs one cascaded SLO-style gain path of five dual triodes whose coupling caps, bright caps, cold-clipper bypasses and stage routing are switched in and out by ten light-dependent opto-isolators, so each stored preset recalls a different voicing from clean to lead. A Preamp gain control, Treble/Bass/Middle stack and Output level feed a cathode-follower output.
