The Sound City Bass 150 is a high-powered valve bass head made in England by Dallas Music Industries. High- and low-gain inputs feed an ECC83 with a Volume control, then two bass controls covering different bands (30–300 Hz and 250–600 Hz) and a Treble control, followed by a second ECC83 recovery stage. An ECC81 long-tail phase inverter, fed back from a dedicated feedback winding, drives four fixed-bias KT88s, with a silicon-bridge supply, standby and a 4/8/16-ohm selector.
