The Sovtek MIG-60 was a 60-watt all-tube head that sat between the MIG-50 and MIG-100H in the Sovtek range, offering a power level suited to medium-sized venues and studio work. Its Russian-made tubes and circuit gave it the characteristic MIG family tone — thick, warm, and slightly compressed — with the additional headroom of a higher-wattage output stage. The MIG-60 was less commonly seen than the 50 and 100 variants but provided a useful compromise for players who found the 50 lacking in headroom and the 100 excessive for their applications. It shared the same basic preamp topology as the rest of the MIG range.
