The Nitro is a high-gain tube head from Splawn Amplification of North Carolina. Its preamp is a single channel of four cascaded 12AX7 stages: a Gain control after the first stage, then two more gain stages and a final stage driving a Treble, Bass and Mid stack. A Master volume sets the level, and a footswitchable Solo control gives a second, boosted lead level. The preamp heaters run on a regulated 12 V DC supply. The available drawing covers the preamp only.
