The Studiomaster Valve Leadmaster (SM600) is a British single-channel valve head. CH1 and CH2 are two inputs with a pull-reverse switch into one ECC83 cascade, with pull-bright and pull-boost, a Volume, a Treble/Bass/Mid stack and a Preamp Gain control. A pull switch brings in a solid-state 5-band graphic EQ, and there is an effects loop and an ECC83-driven spring reverb. An ECC83 long-tail phase inverter with feedback drives two fixed-bias 6L6GCs, with a silicon supply, standby, cooling fan, line out and 4/8-ohm outputs.
