The Sundown A50 is a 1987 American two-channel head designed by Dennis Kager. Channel 1 has its own Gain 1 and High/Low tone network; channel 2 adds cascaded 12AX7A stages with Gain 2 and a pull boost, High 2, Mid (with pull switch), Low 2 and Master. Relays switch channels, with LED indicators. A 12AX7A drives a transformer-coupled spring reverb with its own Reverb control, and a 12AX7A long-tail inverter with Presence and feedback drives two fixed-bias 6L6GCs with an RMS power-scaling control. Silicon bridge supply, 4/8-ohm outputs.
