Teisco Model 62 preset

verified · 82/100 confidence. Complete schematic. All component values readable. Parameters derived directly from the circuit.

The Teisco Model 62 is a tiny Japanese practice amp. Two inputs feed a 6AV6 triode stage, then tone and volume controls and a second 6AV6, driving a single 6AR5 pentode in single-ended class A with a 6X4 valve rectifier and no negative feedback. A later variant of the same circuit replaces the second 6AV6 and the 6AR5 with a single 6BM8 triode-pentode and uses a solid-state rectifier at about 250 V.
