The Liverpool is Ken Fischer's EL84-powered Trainwreck, a single-channel design with a Vox-inspired voice. One input feeds a triode stage and a treble/bass/middle tone stack, then a volume with a bright cap and two further triode stages, the last tuned by its coupling network. A 12AX7 long-tail inverter with negative feedback drives four EL84s sharing a 50-ohm cathode resistor in the AC30 manner. It is known for chime, bloom and fast, dynamic response.
